The FOCUS, established in 1973, is the official school newspaper of Perry Meridian High School. FOCUS covers many topics from sporting events to annual school events like Rock 4 the Earth and Mr. Falcon. FOCUS also provides current news within the community and school. The primary goal of FOCUS is to create an informative, positive, and journalistic newspaper for each member of the school.

FOCUS has 14 staff members including managing editors Synthia Davis and Tyler Corbin.
