Metiabasi Inyang is a junior who recently joined the FOCUS, hoping to use his passion for writing to share a story. He’s especially interested in growing his photography skills and believes the FOCUS will be an opportunity not only to hone his writing skills but also to connect with his peers through school event coverage. Exploring new challenges is something that drives Inyang, whether it’s baking difficult desserts like tiramisu or learning new skills like interviewing; his motto, “It’s okay to let go,” always lingers in the back of his mind. When asked who he would want to share a conversation with, dead or alive, Inyang said, “Zendaya,” whom he’d want to ask why she went back and forth with her acting and music career. This curiosity reflects Inyang’s admiration for challenges, something he hopes to do more of as he grows as a staff member.
