Serenity Miller, a senior, joined the FOCUS to gain more confidence and to hone her writing skills. Miller’s writing extends outside the FOCUS as she writes short stories and scripts, aspiring to be a film director. For her script writing, she takes notes from some of her favorite movies like Final Destination: Bloodlines, which she has seen three times in theaters. Not only does Miller write, but she is also a part of the PMHS Color Guard team. She loves being a part of a community where she is able to perform. Through her writing in the FOCUS, Miller strives to bring representation to women whose voices have been silenced.
