Synthia Davis, Managing Editor
Hello! I’m Synthia Davis and a senior this year. This will be my second year as Co-Managing Editor of the FOCUS and the first as president of German National Honors Society. Over the last four years, I have been involved in girl’s soccer, the speech team, German National Honors Society, FLOTS and I will be going to Germany for the GAPP trip in October. I also am a Blizzard Wizard and have been working at Dairy Queen since sophomore year. I originally joined the FOCUS to be more involved at PMHS, but after the last two years on the staff, I have realized that the FOCUS has allowed me to meet new people and help to share their stories. I have learned more about myself and how to be a better leader through it. Since I have many areas of involvement and this is my last year at Perry, I would like to go to as many school events as possible. That is why this year I will mainly be working within the community section, covering issues around the school, theater events, sporting events and much more. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, hammocking, spending time outdoors and with my friends. I enjoy watching documentaries, crime shows, comfort shows and Jersey Shore. A fun fact about me is that I have a pet frog named Amethyst. I also have a bright blue 2000 RAV4 named Dory that is on the brink of extinction (if you see someone zooming past, blaring the Frozen soundtrack, that would be me.) Next year,I hope to study psychology at Western Washington University.
