Caroline Smothers is the FOCUS editor-in-chief. She balances her personal life with her duties, putting all her dedication into each publication. Smothers joined her freshman year, focusing her angles on the impact of pop culture on society, believing that any topic can be debated as long as it’s handled with respect. That commitment eventually allowed her to lead the FOCUS team. Smothers enjoys spending her time volunteering and benefiting English Language Learner students in her community, extending her generosity to those who need it. With her expertise, leadership skills and headstrong attitude, she hopes to make sure every FOCUS publication is always better than the last.
