Tyler Corbin, Managing Editor
Hi! My name is Tyler Corbin and I am the current Managing Editor of the FOCUS. This is my third year on the staff and second as an editor so I am super excited to see where this year takes the new and old members. Around the school, I can be found on the tennis courts playing number one variety singles and defending my spot as a 4-year varsity athlete. I am also a part of the German National Honor Society or GNHS where we help promote German language and culture around PMHS. I aided in freshman orientation for the second time this year as a Link Crew Leader and most recently have added FLOTS to my repertoire after leading fifth graders from Rosa Parks Elementary School throughout their week at Flat Rock River YMCA Camp. The FOCUS has evolved to become one of my favorite classes not just because of the more student-centered learning and thinking that takes place but because of how much more I’ve gotten to learn about the school from participating. Things I never would have known about get covered by the staff and that creates an avenue for not only myself but anyone to learn about or become involved in those things. I know this year will bring some amazing things to the FOCUS so be sure to read the print issues coming out as well as visit our website for some amazing online content.
