Hi, my name is Sui Par but I go by Sui and Su. The actual spelling of my name is Sui Paw but I don’t know how it got changed to Sui Par so now I am just one of the many Sui Pars in the school. I recently joined STUVO and Link Crew alongside FOCUS to challenge myself not only academically, but to improve my time management skills. I am currently one of the four representatives for team 2024. Next year, I hope to have some classes with my brother before I graduate because he doesn’t have the option to choose all the classes he wants yet. I am kind of sad that I won’t be able to experience my highschool years with all my siblings, but I am glad that I can help them in the future whenever they need help with school work. I joined FOCUS because I really enjoyed Schoch’s presence, previous advisor of FOCUS, he never failed to make my day a little better even though he gave out a lot of assignments that took forever to complete. Every class, he would ask us about our day even if he felt tired, and I really appreciated that. I also really wanted to partake in FOCUS because I wasn’t really involved in any activities through school. This year, I am hoping to be able to write stories about current trends and events since they’re usually popular amongst all students. I want to be able to help my friends express their opinions on school issues through this as well. I also hope to learn how to write sports stories since I’ve never written one. When I took journalism last year, Schoch didn’t give out assignments that required sports writing. Through this class, I am planning to enhance my writing. Although it might be hard for me to ease in at first, I hope to develop close relationships with every staff member.
