Hello, My name is Jordan Brown. I am entering my junior year here at Perry Meridian High School. I am a writer for FOCUS. I am entering my first year on FOCUS primarily acting as a sports writer. I am excited to expand my writing knowledge and work alongside all staff members to produce something great for the school to read and gain information from. I have chosen to be a sports writer for FOCUS due to the fact I played sports for a long time in my life starting when I was young, and it has helped me build some of the best relationships I have along with providing opportunities to both mentally and physically challenge myself and others. I see the new opportunity to write about sports as both exciting and intriguing for me. This is a chance to bring the same level of passion for sports to others in the school and learn more about my peers who also have the same connection. This paired with working in a team environment in an academic setting rather than a sports setting provides a tremendous opportunity to challenge me further. I am looking forward to having a great year and what this new journey has to offer and have the utmost confidence it will become a newfound hobby of mine that I can continue for the rest of my time at Perry Meridian and potentially after my time in high school is over.
